Fakkema.\u00a0The community surrounds an Eagle Preserve that has been home\u00a0\u00a0to a pair of nesting eagles for many years. Each spring we witness\u00a0at least one and most years, two fledgling eaglets being coached\u00a0by their parents on how to fly and forage for their next meal.\u00a0\u00a0It is a show we always look forward to. \u00a0Lucky for us, the Bald Eagle population has grown to healthy\u00a0populations on Whidbey Island. Our nesting eagles continue to\u00a0thrill us with their magnificent overhead flights and the sound of\u00a0their signature chirp or as we call it \u201cthe morning wake-up call\u201d.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wsite-content-title\"><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wsite-content-title\"><span style=\"color: #3333ff;\">Mission Statement<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><strong>Eagle Crest Board of Directors will represent The owners within\u00a0the Eagle Crest Community Association in a professional manner\u00a0ensuring that our community is perceived as a unique and premier\u00a0Oak Harbor neighborhood.\u00a0 The affairs will be managed in a way\u00a0that preserves the harmony of our natural settings while respecting the needs and goals of each owner.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About us Eagle Crest was established in 1993 by developer R.P.
